Role: PL/SQL developer
Location: Jacksonville, FL Duration: 6 months - may go longer Rate: $40/hr Please note, the client has rejected candidates that are data conversion, ETL, and/or DBA focused. They are looking for a PL/SQL developer that has experience with transactional processing. Job Duties include but are not limited to: *Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products *Write code for system designs that span platforms *Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) *Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs *Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points *Estimate project timelines and resources required to complete programming projects *Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications *Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle *Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach *Review vendor research and gap analysis, make vendor recommendation to technical team and client Job Requirements: *Bachelor's degree in related business area or equivalent work experience *1 or more years of experience in a technical lead role *Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration *Demonstrated experience with Unix operating systems *Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures *Advanced experience programming using PL/SQL, Oracle 10G *Advanced experience in Diamond core functionality *Experience with Diamond third party tools preferred (i.e., ClaimCheck, Optimizer, DRG Grouper, APC Pricer) *PC Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) *Demonstrated experience using SQL or similar query language *Demonstrated experience using debugging tools *Demonstrated experience using versioning tools (i.e., Clearcase) *Demonstrated experience using a report-writing tool (e.g., Crystal Reports, IQ, etc.) *Healthcare industry knowledge (I would hire without but this very nice to have) *Experience with RUP methodology and Rational tools *Experience using Powerbuilder, TOAD, SQL Navigator Category Name Required Importance Level Last Used Experience BCBSF Standard Skills Application programming interfaces Yes 1 Extensive Experience Yes 6-10 yrs BCBSF Standard Skills Diamond - IT No 2 Extensive Experience Yes 6-10 yrs Programming Languages Thanks & regards, Amrutha Phone: 734-591-3562X1167 Fax : 734-418-2603 <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] <http://www.aim-cc.com/> www.aim-cc.com http://www.clickindia.com/images/2008/11/11/02/503343_20081111361_large.JPG We are committed to help you grow Note: We respect your Online Privacy.
