*Sr. PeopleSoft Developer* *Location : San Leandro* *Duration: 3-4 months* Specifically, we're looking for Sr. PeopleSoft Developers who've had extensive/expert experience with HRMS/HCM. Particularly important, the Payroll module. Someone who has done implementation, support, enhancements. *Here are additional details: * The purpose of the position is to develop and maintain new applications for PeopleSoft version 9.0 or greater: HCM, Financials and Portal and to enhance PeopleSoft delivered products as required by our business needs. You will work with end users, as well as Application Development and Business Analysts team members to accomplish the design, coding, testing, and implementation of new applications to satisfy business needs. *Job Duties* · Writes new and enhances existing programs that can be executed from a PeopleSoft run control page or routinely by Process Scheduler · Ability to write and support Application Messaging from PeopleSoft to PeopleSoft systems as well as external systems · Enhance and trouble shoot existing COBOL programs · Works with Business Consulting team members and/or End Users to prepare requirement definition and system specification documents to implement end user requirements in the PeopleSoft HCM or Financial systems appropriate *Job Requirements* *Three or more years of experience developing applications* using SQR and PeopleTools such as *PeopleCode for PeopleSoft HCM, Financials and/or Portal applications.* Experience should include: · Knowledge of the SQR programming language with the ability to provide analysis and coding of medium to complex business problems. · Knowledge of Oracle with the ability to write medium to complex SQL scripts · Knowledge of *PeopleTools (8.48 or higher)* and *PeopleCode programming*with the ability of implementing medium to complex business problems · Knowledge of Application Engine programming with the ability of implementing medium to complex business problems · Knowledge of *COBOL programming with specific knowledge of PeopleSoft implementation of COBOL desirable* · Knowledge of EDI desired · Strong analytical and testing skills and posses the ability to conduct testing efforts · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Strong inter-personal skills -- Thanks & Regards, Nandan Sharma Beta Soft Systems, Inc., Fremont, CA-94538 Work- 510-744-1700 ext. 309 | Fax- 1-800-368-1322| [email protected] |www.betasoftsystems.com Yahoo ID: [email protected] Gtalk ID: [email protected] We are "Certified Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE)".
