We have an opening with one of our clients for* **AOC Programmer**. * *Short Description: * The Administrative Office of the Courts seeks a Reports/Forms Developer to provide enhancements for their current Court Management System. *Complete Description*: •Oracle Reports Development, code enhancement and program development or required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards. •Test enhancement and development programs. •Participate in structured code reviews / walkthroughs. •Design applications to functional and technical programming standards •Work with Functional Architects to gather and interpret user requirements into design specifications •Execute all required process steps. •Work with users to ensure that solutions meet business requirements. •Create and provide content for operational documentation to Technical Writers. •Utilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test, and implement an application. •Research problems before approaching the Team Lead or Functional Architect for assistance. •Generally aware of new developments in industry and process and has ability to apply them to work as appropriate. •Follow quality standards. •Support installation of application releases into production as directed. •Communicate accurate and useful status updates. •Ability to work in a team environment •Execution of all responsibilities with little direct supervision of Team Lead. •Determine time estimates and schedule for own work and resolve issues in a timely manner. •Complete assigned tasks. •Strong communication skills; both written and spoken. Skills Required •Enterprise scale database development experience in PL/SQL to include functions, procedures, triggers, indexing, optimization, etc. Oracle Forms/Reports Development. Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude. •Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment •Self-management skills, particularly in respect to prioritization and execution. •Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Windows Server 2003 is a plus. •Experience with XML •Possess a high level of respect for deadlines. • Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools a plus Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience No of Years used Oracle Required 2 Years SQL Required 2 Years PL/SQL Required 2 Years Oracle Reports V 10 Highly desired 2 Years Oracle Forms Highly desired 2 Years Crystal Reports Highly desired 2 Years PHP Desired 1 Years IIS Nice to have 2 Years Any Flavor of Unix Highly desired 1 Years Jasper Nice to have 1 Years Python Desired 1 Years Java Desired 1 Years Location: Pulaski - Local Candidates are preferred.
