We are looking for a talented front-end Web Developer to join our team. The job is about creating as intuitive web user interface for a highly complex application as is possible. The application builds upon lower level libraries and packages while presenting our own creative ideas on presentation and work flow. Each developer owns their area and interacts with other team members, other groups and with customers directly. Good communication skills and people skills are critical. Responsibilities: · Implement *AJAX* pages from *U*I specifications. · Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on UI design, specifically in terms of interaction design, usability, consistency, and implementation effort. · Code in *Javascript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, C# *for all modern browsers. Debug and optimize performance of a multi-tier Web application. · Experience with common AJAX libraries*: Jquery, YUI, Microsoft AJAX.* · Expert Object Oriented *JavaScript *programmer · Generalize today's requirements and enhance the infrastructure accordingly to make implementation of tomorrow's projects easier. · Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Expert in related tools (e.g. Firebug, IE Script debugger) and techniques · Predict and avoid potential problems in design or implementation. Identify and troubleshoot actual problems fast, often in unfamiliar code. · Write unit tests and test your own code. Minimum Requirements: · Expert knowledge of object oriented Javascript development. · Experience in building *AJAX* applications · Excellent understanding of web usability and design interaction principles · Expert knowledge of *HTML, CSS *(standards, tricks, browser quirks) · Proficiency in developing and debugging C# using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 · Strong understanding of Javascript optimizations, debugging and troubleshooting techniques, *Javascript application frameworks*. · In-depth understanding of *HTTP*. · Ability to work in a small collaborative team of developers · Good sense of humor Preferred: · Good understanding of ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> · Strong technical background in Microsoft backend (IIS and SQL Server, deployment and administration) · BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant discipline and experience. · Experience in developing scalable Web applications using ASP.NET<http://asp.net/>, IIS, SQL Server.
