Position: J2EE Software Engineer - Front end Engineering Location: Santa Clara, CA Duration: 6-12 months For this requirement, the manager would strongly prefer the following: 1. YUI - Not required, nice to have but the candidate MUST understand HOW to use the library 2. Solid JAVASCRIPT (Object Oriented Javascript) Must also know how it works and not simply experience utilizing the code. 3. Areas of focus: Javascript, JSP, CSS & DHTML Job Responsibilities: As a team member you will have an opportunity of work on many of these systems as well as work with various cross-functional teams to participate in entire life-cycle of the products. *Understand the business requirements, translate them into design and implementation approaches, and rapidly drive convergence towards the best solution. *Engineer the full product lifecycle, from concepts, design through to maintenance, managing prioritization and trade-offs across functional domains *Hands-on coding: Develop and maintain high quality code base, consistently delivering challenging, stable, and maintainable projects on schedule.
