Job Description: Provide technical support for the architecture, design and administration associated with the implementation, integration, upgrade and troubleshooting of the BackOffice architecture at AT&T Labs for production and research related projects. This involves: Collaboration (Core administrative support specifically to SharePoint Collaboration environment), Integration of WSS and other .net Web services for expanded solutions; Terminal Services Support - IMS Labs Terminal Services environment; use of business intelligence with connectivity to SQL and SharePoint integration); Skills: Senior level AD Infrastructure, SharePoint 2010/2007 Architecture, Design and Support. Senior Level Integration and Maintenance Support of BackOffice Products (Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, LCS, ISA, IIS); Design Specifications - Development of detailed design specifications for use by the technical team; Technical Documentation - Produce technical documentation for all implemented processes. •Installing, configuring and maintaining Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010. •Configuring SharePoint services and settings. •Documenting SharePoint configuration and architecture. •Deploying and supporting custom-developed Intranet and Extranet sites built on SharePoint (MOSS) 2007; migrating and upgrading current environment from 2007 to 2010. •Managing the site layout structure and content. •Deploying, configuring, and managing new site collections and associated sub-sites. •Managing content databases and creating new ones as required. •Assist in backups and restores of SharePoint sites and databases. •Managing site quotas and file size limits. •Monitor usage and produce reports for senior management. •Managing security (user access management) for sites and sub-sites. •Buildout of team and projects sites based on gathered requirements •Modification of SharePoint environment using SharePoint Designer for site branding and custom designs •Coordinating with vendors, network administrators, and system analysts for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of any integration or maintenance issues. •Providing design guidance to SharePoint Developer for testing and deployment of custom program and web parts •Assisting with the identification and specification of SharePoint-related programming tasks and estimating programming effort/hours for project completion. •Providing SharePoint training to internal users. •Supporting power-users on advanced SharePoint design and customization topics. •Providing SharePoint help desk support to end users. •Assisting in the completion of special IT projects on an as needed basis. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE •The SharePoint Architect/Administrator will design, deploy, administer, and maintain SharePoint-based portals and related environments. These environments include an intranet, an extranet, and custom applications. •Must have ability to lead web projects from inception to completion. •Motivated self starter who will take the initiative and identify problems and dependencies within code. •Detail oriented with significant emphasis on the quality of their work. •Must have strong analytical, written and verbal communications skills as well as strong presentation skills •Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years of implementing SharePoint designer and workflow solutions and 3+ year of SharePoint administration (PREFER 1 year of which must be as a lead administrator). •Must possess excellent understanding of SharePoint platform components including network, Secure Socket Layer, SQL, Windows Server 2008, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath Forms, Visual Studio, and .NET. •Web Technologies – HTML •Expert AD infrastructure at an enterprise level •Excellent written and verbal communications skills •Demonstrated relational database and object oriented system design experience •Hands-on experience building MOSS 2007/2010 farms to serve hundreds of users. •Hands-on experience building and administering MOSS 2007/2010 farms in high availability and high-performance clusters. •Strong SQL 2008 •Five or more years of previous experience operating/administrating Enterprise Systems (i.e., user management, backups, upgrades, capacity planning) across multiple platforms. •Experience consulting and providing solutions to complex SharePoint and Windows environments.
