*Platform and Skill Set Expertise: * * * *QA Testing : Test Case Development, QA Testing : QA Testing* *12-18 month* *Location- Charlotte, NC** (LOCAL Or Nearby)* * * Basic Functions: Team member provides guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on preparation of test plans, test cases, test scripts and test execution. Team member also analyzes system specifications to determine the required complexity of test cases needed to certify the accuracy of the application's functionality and business rules. * * *Qualifications:* * * Team Member should have at least five years experience in the field of Quality Assurance as it relates to testing applications. This position requires a background in SQA methodology and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This person will be responsible for developing test plans in addition to test cases. Additional responsibilities include test plan validation and execution, review of test results, interactive testing on various operating systems, reviewing documentation, and tracking defects to closure prior to deployment of applications to the production environments. The candidate must be a self motivated team player, with strong interpersonal skills, as well as solid written and oral communication ability. This person must be able to apply a sense of attention to detail to the SQA process, while simultaneously using creativity to evaluate business rules and technical issues. *Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:* Understand testing methodology, project process, and development process Communicate effectively with individuals in all areas affected by the project Analyze system specifications, process, and requirements Provide accurate testing estimates to team leads and project managers for incorporation into the project plan Design the most effective test strategy using test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Establish and maintain the test environment and generate test data Document and track the status of errors through resolution and coordinate the appropriate testing in response to a correction Participate in the analysis of issues raised with the business owner or user Work closely with developers and end users to track and resolve issues Validate test plan effectiveness and improve test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Certify accuracy of application functionality and business rules Provides consultation to less experienced testers in the development of test plans, test cases, etc. Thank you & Have a wonderful day....
