Position: Business Analyst Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 12 months Candidate needs to have real time exp in UML modeling for requirements, scenario analysis and modular use cases, should have extensive background in insurance industry with exp in Property & Casualty insurance especially. Business Analyst: Here are the details: - Ability to translate business requirements into use cases - Deep understanding of the Commercial Underwriting Process - In depth knowledge of creating use cases, knowledge of various methodologies for documenting use cases and the ability to choose one over the other. Experience in using UML to model use cases - Leadership skills to lead a group of BAs towards a common goal and run with requirements gathering for features without any hand holding - Linear Thinking and Analytical skills to determine various scenarios and validate business solution against all of these. - Ability to work with a technical team in describing the requirement and ensuring the correct Requirements Specifications are developed - Provide thought leadership and solutions for business needs.
