Role : SQL DBA Location : Phoenix
Duration : 8+ Months Rate : $45/hr on C2C *Database Administrator*** Operational DBA assignment to support existing applications. Base responsibilities will include: - promoting releases - evaluating performance - providing assistance to application teams - upgrading to SQL Server 2008 - new database installs - support new application installs - complete and coordinate changes required by audits Required skills: Must be familiar with SQL Server 2000 and SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008. Experience in handling multiple projects/activities at one time Be able to meet aggressive deadlines with minimal supervision. Minimum 5 years SQL Server database administration experience. Windows administration knowledge. Must have a combination of technical and project lead skills. Will coordinate activities of disparate organizations including application teams, infrastructure teams, and business organizations. Experience handling large databases (200 GB to terabyte range).
