We need a Config Analyst/Tools admin.
Duration is 6 months and rate is $30 - $35
*Job Summary:*
A *technical analyst *is responsible for all aspects of developing,
deploying, and maintaining applications on multiple types of computer
hardware and operating systems. This individual needs to have knowledge of
information systems, specifically tools administration, scripting, and the
system development life cycle.**

*Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*
- Works closely with team members to gather information, analyze business
processes and information systems.
- Analyze, install, and maintain tools required for system implementation
- Write shell scripts to automate system functions
- Perform system configurations and code migrations
*Job Specifications:*
*Knowledge:*
- General understanding of concepts, practices and procedures in a
specific field of functional and/or technical activity.
- Basic understanding of business unit needs to provide IT support within
their functional area.
- Knowledge of / experience with application development languages,
utilities, life cycle methodology and software configuration management
tools. **
- Knowledge of / experience with relational and/or object oriented
databases.**

- Ability to design and implement system scripts on a Unix and Windows
platform.
- Ability to install, test, implement and upgrade packaged application
software.
- Ability to produce quality application documentation including
requirements, design, test procedures, support logs, etc.
*Technical Skills:*
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, 2000
- Unix Solaris 10, Redhat Linux, vi editor
- Oracle 10g, 11i
- Scripting language – Bash shell, Powershell, ANT, Perl, Awk, WLST, etc.
- Java, SQL, PLSQL
- Knowledge of Software Configuration Management a plus
*Education/Experience:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or
related discipline or the equivalent combination of formal education and
experience.
- Minimum 1-6 years related technology experience.
*Physical requirements, working conditions, and other factors to consider:*
· Overtime when required by work schedules and workload.
· May perform other duties as assigned.
