May be in future we can get in touch. * Position : SAP DBA **Location : Corning, NY* *Contract : 6 months contract and possible extension* *Required skills and experience level**:* · At least 7 years of experience as oracle DBA and minimum 3 years managing SAP environments. · Solid foundation in Oracle 9i/10g/11g internals and RDBMS, backups, alerting, monitoring · Must have experience supporting SAP large Databases on Oracle 10g/11g · Experience of SAP Basis Administration skills · Experience with Oracle 10g/11g Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM/OMS) and solution manager · Experience with MAXDB and LiveCahe · Good understanding on SAP architecture, experienced in SAP installation, SAP tools, and navigating SAP with various T-codes and Menus, and monitoring SAP application. · Deep understanding and experience in database performance monitoring and tuning, SQL tuning, database layout and storage optimization · Proficiency with Windows/RHEL O/S, process monitoring, shell scripting · Good knowledge of Oracle technologies: install & configure RAC, ASM, CRS, RMAN, standby · Clear oral and written communication in English *Typical Responsibilities and Accountabilities:* · Primarily production and project support role · Support, maintain, and rollout of SAP environments on an Oracle database platform. · On-call production support nights, weekends and holidays · Managing databases on clustered Linux nodes · Upgrading SAP Database and applying Oracle updates/patches · Troubleshooting and pro-active maintenance of SAP Environments · Perform new installation, backup and recovery of various components of the database Click here to view current job openings.<http://www.maxhire.net/cp/?E15E6A361D43515B7D501329> *Thanks & Regards, Bhageerath| Sr. Resourcing Specialist SYSTEL INC.
