Duration: 6-12 month contract Rate: best *Description* DataStage Administrator (Unix AIX) Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities cover product administration for DataStage/Infosphere 8.1, 8.0 & 7.5 on an AIX platform. Product administration covers the installation, environment setup & configuration, production support and developer support. Secondary responsibilities covers the development, implementation and support of infrastructure & application configuration management tools for a large, complex and highly integrated environment consisting of 40+ different software technologies and over 250 lpars/servers. Area of responsibility cover: production support, environment monitoring, application & file system utilization tracking, environment capacity planning and reporting, infrastructure inventory & license management, availability monitoring, data collection, reporting & metrics gathering & automated build tools. Other responsibilities cover the problem analysis, diagnosis & resolution of all infrastructure issues in the environment.
