Accountable for creating and maintaining the infrastructure plans and ensuring that implementation of those environments are on time and on budget as well as preparing the weekly status on tasks, issues, defects to the Project lead Work closely with Unix, Storage, QA, Performance, Deployment Engineer, and Development teams Will require to participate on-call rotation to support both development and production environments Should be able to translate an Object model/Data Models into highly efficient DB designs Have working knowledge and some hands-on experienced in tuning and optimizing database & queries working closely with Application Developers Proficient in troubleshooting and tuning applications, system configuration and database software parameters.
