*Job Title : Oracle DBA Location : Alpharetta, GA Duration : 6+ months Contract Oracle DBA with at least 7 years of expert senior level DBA with experience in Oracle 10g/11g Extensive performance tuning experience, specializing in instance tuning, and SQL optimization across various OLTP and OLAP applications. Must have hands on experience regarding backup/recovery strategies and competently implement them, including RMAN, data pump, exports and imports. Must have hands on experience with Oracle software new installs, upgrades, and patch application. (Application specific Stored procures, SQL queries, scripts on adhoc basis) Must be an expert on Automatic Storage Management (ASM) 11gR2. Must have hands on experience with regarding installation, configuration, Monitoring RAC system (11gR2: 11.2.0.3) Must be hands on experience in Oracle STREAMS. Must be able to write PL/SQL and have SQL tuning skills. Must have excellent trouble shooting skills and be able to debug most oracle problems. Technical consulting on Oracle and Linux administration Must have used Oracle utilities (OEM, Grid Control, Oracle Developer, etc.) Must be able to write and maintain UNIX shell scripts Must be very knowledgeable in implementation and support of standby/data-guard/RAC configurations 11gR2.
