PL/SQL developer

Job description:

We are looking for someone who can do PL SQL code reviews (DB2 nice to have
but Oracle guy would also be fine). He will also be responsible for setting
up the processes, guidelines and best practices for our App Arch DB code
review team. He should have experience/knowledge in core Java 5, Web
services (nice to have), Awareness of the WSDL, design patterns, basic
architectural concepts. S/He should be able to work on both PL SQL and Java
API development.

 

Job Requirements:

.         Good in general DB concepts, ANSI standard syntaxes.

.         Hands on Experience in DB2/Oracle code base development (DCL, DML,
DDL), Exception handling, Transaction management, debugging and testing.

.         Very good in setting up general PL SQL coding guidelines, best
practices and enforcements for dev teams.

.         Very good in coming up with best review processes.

.         Nice to have experience in performance improvements in queries and
DB Objects like procedure, functions, cursors (appropriate constraints,
Joins, Indexes, hints etc)

.         Nice to have experience in Oracle/DB2 database administration,
Users, Objects permissions, grants.

.         Nice to have experience in Entity designs, ETL, transaction
handling etc.
