*Duration: 12+ months* *Job Description: * *· This one will be focusing more on the contact center technology · Very experienced in Cisco · International experience is preferred since this person will be dealing with a lot of the vendors all over the world · Again, won't be doing as much of the hands on components · Would consider some PMs and BAs that have the right experience for this role* *Role & Responsibilities * *· Support Cisco UCCE contact center hardware/software and network production environment. · Drive proactive monitoring and quick incident response relative to these. · Provide troubleshooting and resolution to routine/semi-complex problems. · Recommend, deploy and document strategies and solutions for software/hardware/network engineering problems/incidents based upon comprehensive and thoughtful analysis of business goals, objectives, requirements and existing technologies. · Participate in the development of requirements and estimates from a technical perspective for all contact center-related projects, influencing implementations to ensure high availability and business-expected functionality · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience. · 5-7 years proven engineering expertise with Cisco ICM/UCCE and ancillary products. · Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile incidents/problems. · Highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities required. · Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels. · High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex operating environments. · Familiarity with VOIP and performance tools Understands data & voice technical standards and architectural design requirements · SME in the components that make up the Cisco UCCE platform including (but not limited to): > Peripheral Gateways (PG’s) > CTI Servers > CTIOS at the Desktop > Central Controllers > Historical Data Server > SIP Proxy > Integration points with Workforce Management, Recording systems (Nice) and Reader Boards > IVR (Cisco Voice Portal) > Network infrastructure (specifically Media Termination Points) > Cisco Call Manager · In depth knowledge of IT process and technology · Understanding of service delivery lifecycle needed to deliver projects (CMMI)* *Skill or Knowledge Required * *· Perform a variety of engineering tasks around system design, implementation, integration and optimization within a technology domain or line of business. · Utilize systems expertise and knowledge of software, hardware, networks, and/or storage to work across the business with architecture, application development, business analysts, DBAs and infrastructure to evaluate business needs and design and manage end-to-end technical solutions. · Provide oversight, technical direction and expertise to other technical members of project and support teams. · Leverage industry best practices to assess, design, test, approve, implement and support new and existing multi-tier solutions and systems. · Provide expertise on assigned technology domain or assigned assets (to include interrelationships with other systems, applications and technology). · Work with the business and across technology to analyze highly complex business requirements then manage the design or redesign of complex systems. · Advise on viability and feasibility of alternative approaches. · Execute and/or oversee the execution of the following: (1)create, maintain and archive low level design documents and detailed engineering specifications based upon business and user requirements, to include high availability design diagrams, scalability design diagrams, capacity models, logical and physical network diagrams, storage layout diagrams and disaster recovery documentation; and (2) write and/or revise operations documentation to include providing required input into operation support manuals and user guides as applicable. · Lead system design walkthroughs. Oversee development and implementation of complex processes and procedures, including system additions and/or enhancements, to ensure compliance with specifications.
