Qualifications: Experience with Oracle RDBMS, database management architectures, technologies and procedures. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience coding ANSI 92 Structured Query Language (SQL) to build and query database objects. Experience installing and upgrading software on midrange hardware. Ability to prepare clear and concise plans. Good shell/batch scripting skills for either UNIX, LINUX, or Windows environments. Working knowledge of how backup software works on large midrange servers. Working knowledge of how SAN storage, network communication, Firewalls and DNS work with large midrange servers.
