Title: Linux Engineer
Duration:6-9 month project
Location: New York City, NY (for first month they need to be onsite and
then can work remote)

*The two biggest things in this project are having their RHCE (Red Hat
Certified Engineer) certification and strong Kernel troubleshooting
experience. They need to have expert level experience with Kernel. Below
are the requirements for the position, but those two points I made earlier
are the biggest.
Requirements: In addition to below:
RHCE required, Kernel knowledge, strong communication skills, strong
customer facing skills, well versed in RH technologies.
The Consultant will be available to assist Client with the following,
directed by the Client:
Assist with reviewing Client's planned migration from RHEL 5 to RHEL 6
Assist with root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and Kernel level
issue resolution for RHEL 5 to RHEL 6 migrations
Assist with system diagnosis and resolution of Customer’s Red
Hat-related issues
Assist with planning, architecting, and deploying the RHEL 6 environment
Assist with migrating the RHEL 5 solutions to RHEL 6
Offer on site system support for Customer’s Red Hat environments
Offer general knowledge transfer and documentation as appropriate
