Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving the functional and technical design, development,
testing and ongoing support of collaboration solutions for an enterprise
SharePoint implementation for the Virginia Department of Conservation and
Recreation.
The SharePoint Developer/Architect will be responsible for driving the
functional and technical design, development, testing and ongoing support
of collaboration solutions for an enterprise SharePoint implementation for
the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. The selected
candidate will lead an Electronic Content Management (ECM) system
implementation and intranet conversion using SharePoint.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:
1. Support the collection and documentation of requirements from the user
community.
2. Analyze requirements and map to SharePoint out-of-the-box solutions.
3. Configure and code sites/tools to implement the requirements.
4. Identify new areas on an ongoing basis where SharePoint can be leveraged.
5. Provide documentation for the sites/tools built.
6. Be able to perform site collection administrator functions, such as
permission, site and space monitoring, etc.
7. Support the user community to answer SharePoint related questions.
8. Working experience with content management systems.
9. Be able to support SharePoint governance planning.
10. Web and/or graphical design experience is a plus.
*Note : After the first round the candidate has to take an In person
interview at VA for which the expenses has to be borne by the candidate
only.*
