*Job Description:*
1. Fabricate, document, test and install test fixtures for
the purpose of ECM software testing.
Fixtures required for each new application to include all applicable inputs
and outputs. This includes: metalworking, assembly of required electronic
circuitry and all necessary wire harnessing.
2. Create harnessing to adapt existing test fixtures to new requirements as
requested.
3. Repair and maintain existing equipment/fixtures.
4. Maintain stock of repair parts.
5. Research (INTERNET, Morton, HVC etc.) and procure parts as required by
the group.
6. Relocate equipment as requested.
7. Assist engineers in the group as requested. Includes any kind of wiring
they may need to conduct testing. Experimentation and attempted recreation
of issues seen in the field.
8. Proving Grounds trip as requested: machine re-wiring, software flashes
etc. Required Skills: Requires Associate Degree with 2 years experience as
an Electronic Technician, including soldering, harness assembly, electrical
troubleshooting, and basic metalworking skills.
Experience in preparing both complex detailed electrical drawings and less
complex layouts. Requires good verbal and written communications skills.
Requires MS Office experience, particularly Excel and Word.
