*Duration: 6+Months Interview Mode: Phone then Face to Face * * Qualifications and Experience* We are looking for an ETL Developer with a skill set of SSIS 2008/2012 who also has extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Concepts and Data Modeling. Someone that will be a thought leader and implement robust, highly tuned ETL packages. *Position Duties / Responsibilities* · This technical position will be responsible for development and on-going support of an enterprise data warehouse, data marts and supporting systems/applications. · Role will be part of a team which will be responsible for using business and technical requirements and architecting solutions based on what is needed from a delivery standpoint. · Build and maintain modular ETL applications which enable the flow of data between data sources · Develop database schemas, database procedures and functions, ETL, data loads and data extracts · Interact with Business Systems Analysts, users , business leads and vendor teams to understand Business needs. · Understand source data components and how they integrate with each other and existing EDW structures . · Design and implement ETL architectures based on the business, data and functional requirements · Deliver the ETL high level design document for program and development team to review. · Deployment and integration testing of developed components in Development and Test environments. · Support QA (resolve issues and release fixes) UAT and production support when required. · Develop, maintain and document SSIS packages and solutions. · Partner directly with other ETL developers, data architects, clients, other technical data warehouse team members and database administrators to design and develop high performing ETL and maintain consistent development functions. · Ensure solution designs address performance requirements, reusability, availability, integrity, security challenges, and business functional requirements. · Develop and maintain T-SQL code (stored procedure, functions, etc...) as needed. · Performance tune SSIS packages and solutions to improve the overall execution time. · Provide estimates of work to be done. *Required Skills and Experience* · 3 + years of data warehouse development experience · 3 + years' experience working with SQL/T-SQL · 2 + years SSIS experience · Expert with Data Warehouse Concepts, Methodologies and SDLC. · Expert hands-on experience to design and implement BI/ETL architecture solutions according to SSIS best practices · Experience in DW/BI with a skill set of SSIS with good understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts and Data Modeling · Experience working with SQL Server 2008, 2012 databases · Experience in working with multiple source/Client systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, XML files, various types of flat files, MS Access/Excel documents. · Experience working with Windows based systems and scripting languages such as batch scripts · Complete understanding of SSIS framework, administration, maintenance and configuration · Ability to work independently and be productive with minimal direction. · Additional (preferred) Experience · Experience working in data management, configuration and source code control (TFS) · Experience in working with various SSIS add-ons · Experience in Gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements · Experience in the education industry · Experience with reporting analysis, source data element analysis and business process analysis in a data warehouse environment · Experience in design and creation of data marts from various heterogeneous data sources · Experience in working with the architect team for BI DW data modeling and provided input. · Work with enterprise data warehouse team to create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouse and data marts including ETL processing E Email me on che...@dtscinc.com / chetan.r...@gmail.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
