*6 months+* *Description:* ** 2+ years of architecture and development with Android. * Expert with the Linux kernel and Android internals (5+ years)* * Expertise with one or more of following domains: GFX, Media, Audio, Camera, Power, Security, Webkit, Networking * Any prior coding experience with Linkers, Compilers and code generators is also highly desirable * Previous experience solving hard problems which can be demonstrated by innovative products in the market. Ability to think out-of-the-box * Ability to multi-task is a plus, must be a self-starter and able to navigate thru high technological and code complexity * Ability to lead teams, technical discussions and customer engagements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to design software * Detailed, hands-on experience developing Google (Android) applications. * Hands-on experience of HTML5, JavaScript (DOM, object-oriented JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, XML), CSS3 and jQuery development experience required. * Experience with mobile integration to back-end systems via Web services and APIs. * Knowledge of the submission and approval process for Google Play. * Experience with Subversion and/or GIT code repositories. * Experience with mobile (Responsive Design) preferred. * Deep understanding of the Quality (Testing) process needed to produce world-class mobile applications. * Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP Web services. * Experience working in an Agile environment *Additional desired qualifications* * Security expertise.
