Position: BI Data Architect Location: Detroit, MI Duration: 6-12 months *Job Summary: * Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Information Management approaches, including data migration and integration strategies *Must possess prior health care payer experience. * *6+ years of hands-on experience with Healthcare data *and knowledge of industry standard data models *Responsibilities: * Leads the design, development and implementation of complex, multi-application transactional and analytical data models at the conceptual and logical levels using standard data modeling tools Translates complex business requirements into tangible data requirements through collaborative work with both business and technical subject matter experts Develops models with an eye towards high performance, scalability, flexibility and usability Ensures data models are in alignment with the overall Enterprise Information Management Architecture Publishes and conducts model reviews and negotiations solutions with business and technical teams. Analyzes and profiles large and complex data sets to discover and/or validate data quality issues and business rules. Develops and documents functional specifications for data transformation based on business rules. Ensures consistency of data definitions across areas of responsibility. Assists with the translation of logical models to physical tables Assists Business and IT associates with creation of complex queries.
