Key Responsibilities:


Work very closely with the users to understand, capture and transpose
Business requirements and functional needs.

Translate business requirements into IT application functional
specifications and business processes.
Develop and update functional user stories/use cases and conduct business
process modeling to explain business requirements to development teams.
Assist teams to ensure requirements are translated to test plans and
implement new functionalities by running training sessions, demos and
documentation development.
Work closely with end-users during the UAT phase of the project.
Reports status on a timely basis to senior management on project progress,
issues, and open items.
Work with technical leads to develop project plans and estimates.

Essential Requirements



7-9 years in the Banking / Financial Industry working in Financial Systems
in the capacity of Business Analyst.

Excellent understanding of HR and Payroll Functions including

Recruiting/Learning
management<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learning_management_system>,
Performance record <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Performance_record>, Employee
self-service<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Employee_self-service_(web-based_application)>Scheduling,
Absence management,
Analytics <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analytics>

Experience with developing Functional Specifications, Process Flows, Use
Cases and other SDLC deliverables are required.

Inclusive of a good understanding of application development, release
management and change management methodologies and best practices.
Strong ability to analyze, understand and document business workflows and
processes, including leading system and user acceptance testing.
Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Comfortable
working with Business users directly and presenting to senior management.
Possess strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and
prioritize work efforts.
Strong people management skills with proven track record managing
multi-site development teams.
Proven experience working with external vendors and offshore development
teams including working ยท Experience with working on Agile/Scrum method of
product implementation and delivery.
Excellent technical knowledge with SQL and relational databases with the
ability to independently write and perform queries, analyze data, and
define data models.

Excellent Proficiency in Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is
required.
