*6+Months* *Phone hire* *Responsibility * * Develop business application systems in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices. * Facilitate in enhancing application development standards * Regularly provides input to define and implement conceptual issues. * Coordinate activities with team members for successful transition of application through development, testing, implementation and maintenance stages. * Provide subject matter expertise on workability of designs, architecture, and testing. Research and recommend solutions to client requirements. * Maintain different scheduled tasks and support and enhance various deployment solutions. * Design solutions for business issues and projects. * Design and develop internal tools and processes to support the team's development efforts. * Collaborate with Business Analysts during requirements gathering and provide guidance on writing technical specifications. * Develop relationships and integrate activities with other teams to ensure successful implementations of company and department wide projects. * Assist other developers as needed. * Active participation in the design, development, and implementation stages of the system development life-cycle including analysis, design, coding, documentation, testing, implementation, and training. * Write well-commented code and adhere to naming conventions. Submit code for review and adhere to the standards established by team leads. * Document important flows / processes for modules and projects assigned. * Responsibility for timely response to business clients when diagnosing and resolving support problems. * Responsibility for supporting production applications to ensure the stability of applications and appropriate access to data in the production environment. * Work collaboratively within small teams and contributes to group outcomes, while also assuming individual responsibility for assigned portions of software development projects. * Create weekly status report to inform management of project status, estimated completion dates and any other issues for management attention. * Troubleshoot a wide variety of complex problems and identify solutions within broad applications and functional expertise. * Support QA and UAT for enhancements and productions fixes. * Perform other duties as required. *Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)* · Application design and development concepts · Database design and development concepts. · The application architecture of the systems being developed and supported. · The technologies, platforms, and applications used to develop automated business solutions. · Demonstrated success building enterprise software products. · Working experience in building N-Tier architecture / Service Oriented Architecture. · Awareness and understanding of changes in technology and how these changes impact core business applications. · Business knowledge of each of the following: · Business functions for the business units supported. · Service requests requirements and the business objectives and tactics represented by the requests. · Core business processes and how to automate business solutions and related integration issues. · Awareness and understanding of changes in business and how these changes impact core business processes. · Familiar with technical functionality of core technologies used within business units supported and can use some of the following tools or technologies to manage and develop applications: · Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, InfoPath, Visio, and Project. · Source Control Technologies/Methodologies. · Demonstrated success building enterprise software products. · Working experience in building N-Tier architecture / Service Oriented Architecture. · Developer Specific Technical Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: · *Application Integration Developer* · *BizTalk 2010* · *MuleSoftCloudHub* · *EDI* · *ETL (SSIS)* · *ANSI SQL* · Required non-technical skills include: · Communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills · Complex problem solving · Strategic thinking · Results orientation · Mentoring · Adaptability Regards, Chetan Singh Panwar Dominion Technology Services Corp (804)859-7510 E-mail: che...@dtscinc.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
