*Title: Active Directory Engineer* *Location: Boston, MA*
*Duration: 6 months+* *Top Three Must Haves: * *1) Five years of experience conducting Windows Server 03/08/12 administration and builds. * *2) Five years of experience supporting an enterprise Active Directory environment, performing domain consolidation. * *3) Must have experience with ADMT, which is a Microsoft standard tool for AD migration.* *Job Description:* This position will work with the internal Vertex security team to assist with an ongoing Active Directory domain consolidation project. S/he will be responsible for collecting and analyzing object inventories, updating file server permissions and performing other tasks as required to consolidate Active Directory domains. *Qualifications:* • 5 - 8 years of experience as a Senior Windows Administrator • Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2003, 2008R2 & 2012 • Experience managing an Active Directory environment, including user administration, and group policy management • Must have experience using Microsoft ADMT to migrate objects between domains (e.g. users/groups/servers) - Standard Microsoft tool. • Experience with ForeFront Identity Manager is a plus. • Experience with Federated Identity systems (e.g. Microsoft ADFS, Ping Identity) is a plus • Exceptional problem solving skills, technical skills and analytical skills a must • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to adapt to changing business needs • Must be able to work well with cross functional teams and be able to work effectively with all levels within an organization • Working knowledge of networking (DNS, VLANs, routing) *Additional Information * Candidate will be supporting Windows 2003 systems, and building 2008 systems.
