*Duration: 12 + Months* *LOOKING FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES OR SOMEONE FROM NEARBY STATES* *Responsibilities:* • Delivers high performance software solutions using software architecture patterns and best practices and aspect-oriented programming • Works hand-in-hand with architects to build the right solution the first time • Works with engineering delivery teams to ensure solutions are released to market on schedule • Works closely with operations and support staff to ensure successful production delivery and hand-off • Hands-on support of priority production issues, troubleshoot and implement fixes in an expedient and quality manner • Develops solutions based upon comprehensive User Stories (detailed requirements) that lead to demonstrable acceptance • Participates in daily stand up meetings, iteration planning, release reviews, and retrospectives • Participates in product demos and User Acceptance Testing of each sprint/release • Proven self-starter and track record of completing multiple complex tasks • Ability to be productive and effective within a matrix organization *Qualifications:* • 7+ years of software development experience with core Java and J2EE • Java proficient and experience with JDK 1.6 or above; exposure to multithreading concepts • Spring and Struts frameworks and writing multithreaded applications • Hands on Restful architecture and REST Web Services implementation • Knowledge of common API frameworks • Database design with DB2 or Oracle and with good exposure to SQL • Strong OO Design and development skills • Creative problem solver and excellent communicator • Payment processing or Financial Services industry experience a plus.
