Hi, Hope you're doing great, We have a great Opportunities for you which will match with your profile please go through the requirements and let us know if your level of interest for below requirements.
*Position: Senior Data Scientist* *Location: Redwood City, CA* *Duration: 6 Months+* Client is looking for a dynamic data scientist to develop algorithms for automated energy efficiency. The successful candidate will contribute at all levels, defining product, implementing production code, coordinating other contributors, and monitoring daily operation. Deep intuition for numerical models, strong coding, and concise communication are essential. You'll have access to a data-set that is huge, and that continues to grow exponentially. You'll be supported by a team of experienced engineers and use state of the art hardware. You will deploy your algorithms on a distributed platform and see them run in homes nationwide. Your results will be discussed at all levels in the company and will directly inform product development. You'll drive algorithms all the way from conception to production. This might be the right job for you if many of the following apply: you are often skeptical of models and optimizations you love mastering new numerical methods you care deeply about visualizations and information density you hate ugly code you've read 'Code Complete', 'The Pragmatic Programmer', or other books in the genre you've considered starting your own company you care more about kWh than CTR *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Research Drive basic research on a start-up's schedule Leverage a wide range of numerical methods Model a wide range of phenomena, from homes to homeowners Share your insights through powerful visualizations Cross-validate Implement Develop algorithms and deploy them to Hadoop Develop solid 0.1 code, outstanding 1.0 code Constantly simplify, reduce, and refactor Aggressively seek out corner cases Unit test Lead Identify product opportunities and technical challenges Drive development, from conception to production Own the whole stack, from algorithm to monitoring Train other teams and equip them with tools *EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED)* PhD in a quantitative field, or MS with equivalent experience Expertise in managing basic research Experienced with modeling a wide range of phenomena with a variety of methods Track record of building large-scale robust numerical programs Fluency in object-oriented programming (e.g. Python, Java), numerical scripting (e.g. R, Matlab), and Unix *EXPERIENCE (DESIRED)* 3+ years experience in the development of data products Expertise in the manipulation of large datasets (> 1 TB) Experience in developing data products for the consumer market Experience in energy efficiency, building models, or behavioral models *Thanks* * Chris Johnson* *Email:* ch...@appnetglobal.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
