*Job Title:* Help Desk Support I *Duration : *5 months *Location : *Atlanta, Georgia *Job Description : * Deskside Support (DSS), Office of Information Technology (OIT) at Department of Personnel & Administration (DPA) INTRODUCTION The Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide 1 "leased workers" for no more than 40 hours per week and up to a maximum of 26 weeks for assistance in installing, updating and moving IT equipment fixing IT "issues." *BACKGROUND* Currently the desktop support team provides day-to-day computer support for DPA for over 400 desktops, laptops, and mobile computers deployed 3 primary locations for DPA. Due to lack of sufficient DSS staff to meet the needs of supporting the large number of PCs and peripherals DPA DSS must use contract work to close this gap in support capability. *PURPOSE* Need high quality end-user IT support, which includes the installation, operation and maintenance of IT user desktop hardware and software. The current full time DSS staff member who supports DPA will be leaving April 7th.
