*Position =  Network Security ConsultantLocation = Columbus, OHDuraion = 6+
Months*

To work as a global team member in the security and support of
complex, *multi-site
Data and VoIP environments* to ensure consistent, secure and stable
infrastructure that will support the current and future demands of the
business.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
• Installation of *Riverbeds Stingray Applications Firewall.*
• Convert publicly facing internet applications starting with *Accruent and
SharePoint sights to a WAF environment*, protecting them from exposed
vulnerabilities. Other publicly facing applications such as SAP,
PeopleSoft, Webmail, etc. will follow as required.
• Network Load Balancing.
• Ability to work with Application Team to develop rule sets to protect
their publicly facing applications.
• *Network Security* – Familiarity with Network security initiatives such as*
Routing, Switching, and Firewall based rules. *

*QUALIFICATIONS:*
• Preferred 4 year degree in Information Systems or an equivalent
combination of course work and job experience
• 5-7or more years experience in *LAN/WAN including 2 or more* years of
LAN/WAN Administration experience within a multi-platform technical
environment.
• Familiarity of *SSDLC (Secure Software Development Life Cycle) or SDL
(Secure Development Lifecycle*).
• Knowledge of common software and web application vulnerabilities, such as
the OWASP Top 10.
• Security Engineering or Penetration Testing experience
• Software Engineering experience developing/debugging.
• Relevant industry training and/or certification: security: CSSLP, CISSP,
OSCP, GWAPT, GPEN and network: CCNA, CCNP or CCNE
• Identify potential risks, threats, vulnerabilities and exploits through
architecture review, threat modeling, secure code review, and penetration
testing.
• Define information security policies and standards.
• Knowledge of web application penetration testing methodology and
reporting.

*Tools and Capabilities:*
• Nessus, Burp Suite, w3af, sqlmap, Nikto, nmap, Metasploit and Webscarab
• TCP/IP, HTTP(S), XMPP and DNS
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS and WAF
• C, C++, Objective-C, Java or .Net
• MySQL, MSSQL, NoSQL
• Perl, Python or PHP
