Please share suitable profiles towards below position to [email protected] *Position: Data Warehouse Architect * *Location: Austin, TX* *Duration: Long term* *Responsibilities* · Gathering the technical requirements, design and develop business analytical solutions, testing and implementing of data warehouse, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) / (ETL, Reporting, Analytics) requirements. - Demonstrated problem resolution skills with team of persons, and strong leadership with implementation team Experience in data warehouse design and data modeling (both relational and dimensional) and development and maintenance of multi-dimensional data models. - Responsible for proper selection of appropriate hardware, software, tools and system lifecycle techniques for the different components of the end-to-end data warehouse architecture including ETL, metadata, data profiling software, database platform, performance monitoring, reporting and analytic tools. - Understanding of data warehouse Metadata concepts, tools and different data warehouse methodologies. Expertise in SQL and proficiency in database tuning techniques. Responsible for the ongoing architecture and design of the data warehouse, data mart, and reporting environments. Develop strategies for flexibility and scalability, and define the future technical architecture direction for the business intelligence reporting physical environment. - Development experience in implementation of data warehousing utilizing RDBMS. - Data model design and documentation (Facts and Dimensions, Business Users & Security Permissions, Stars with Hierarchies, Business Model Names for Source Columns, Reports and Dashboard Layouts). - Design and develop ETL (Extract Transform and Load) maps using industry standard tools like Oracle Warehouse Builder. - Design and develop ER diagrams and map the source data into data warehouse objects. - Defining and documenting the technical architecture of the data warehouse, including the physical components and their functionality. - Develop OBIEE meta-data layer. Configure repository on all the three layers (Physical Layer, Business Logic and Mapping Layer and Presentation Layer). Objects *must* be accessible to all stakeholders, internal and external. - Analyze, design, develop, modify and test objects in Oracle database. - Follow organization standards and/or recommend changes in standards. - Support by fixing incidents and enhance the business solutions that are developed based on the functional and strategic requirements. - Ability to educate the project teams on the standards and architecture of each component of the data warehouse architecture. Very strong written and oral communication skills, including some presentation skills. - Preferred: Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new OBIEE analyses, dashboards and reports. - Preferred: Analyze, design, develop, modify and test OBIEE Dashboards / Reports with different Analytics Views (Pivot Table, Chart, Tabular and View Selector), Alerts, Guided Navigation, and Dynamic / Interactive Dashboards with drill-down capabilities using global and local Filters for complex agency information technology systems. *Required Qualifications, Skillsets and Abilities* - Four (4) year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent direct experience. - Ability to interpret business requirements and develop technical solutions for internal and external systems - Experience (3-7 years) of data warehouse end-to-end implementation processes, from business requirement logical modeling, physical database design, ETL, end-user tools, database, SQL, performance tuning. - Ability to work with multiple levels of business and IT management. - Ability to work well independently and in a team environment. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience (4-7 years) - Data Mart development experience, including knowledge of dimensional modeling - Experience with OBIEE Presentation Layers - Preferred Experience with OBIEE Designing and Developing Dashboards for Internal and Public Consumption - Preferred Experience with Ad-hoc Query and Analysis - Preference given to candidates who have experience with our existing toolset which includes: o Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition o Oracle Database o Oracle Golden Gate o Oracle Data Integrator o Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler o Oracle SQL Developer Thanks and Regards, Vijay Ramagiri *ProNix* *Inc* Ph: 732-902-0910 [email protected] <[email protected]> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
