*9to9 Software Solutions *is looking for *Sr. Business Analyst with US Regulatory *for our client in *NYC, NY.* *Job Title: Business Analyst with US Regulatory Liquidity Reporting.* *Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 6+ Months Contract* *Need local GC/CTZN for In-person interview with **strong financial background* *Summary: * The Risk & Finance IT Liquidity Program Managers are seeking 3 experienced Business Analysts to support delivery of the US Liquidity Reporting project required for Fed compliance. The project scope includes delivery of 5G and LCR reports for US entities. *WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND: * · 5+ years’ experience as a business analyst in the financial industry, with demonstrated experience providing business analysis for Treasury or Regulatory Reporting processes and applications · Knowledge of Treasury processes, including for liquidity risk management/monitoring and familiarity with bank products; knowledge of regulatory reporting standards and practices strongly preferred · Understanding of all phases of an application development life cycle and development methodologies, and familiarity with IT platforms and software development methodologies · Strong analytical skills and project execution skills relevant to delivery of Treasury applications · Working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel · Ability to understand and challenge business processes, requirements and proposed solutions to help define strategic, robust, and scalable solutions in line with CFO/CIO strategies · Ability to proactively manage timelines, risks, and client to ensure timely delivery of quality deliverables · Ability to communicate with diverse audience at varying levels of detail as appropriate, including with Business SMEs and IT application developers across multiple regions · Ability to demonstrate self-initiative as well as take direction and escalate issues as appropriate · Excellent verbal and written skills. *We are specifically looking for one BA each to focus on the following: * · Reconciliation requirements and designs to demonstrate Books and Records alignment for product data in scope for 5G/LCR reporting (primarily from STAR) · Secured Finance and GL comparison and reconciliation requirements and designs · Global analysis of LCRs implemented across multiple regions for harmonization of logical data models and to lead Axiom fit/gap analysis for tools assessment · The primary responsibility for these roles is to understand the business requirements and align data requirements and solutions, and to produce functional specifications that will provide the basis for the technical designs that will be defined and built by technical analysts assigned to the project. Responsibilities include: · Liaise with Business subject matter experts and project team to understand relevant business processes and the nature of the reporting requirements · Define Functional Specifications per area of focus (see above), including for relevant data sourcing, enrichments, calculations, and reporting, and oversee development of corresponding technical designs by developers assigned to same functional area · Define Functional Test Scripts and execute functional verification and troubleshooting of technical issues during Systems Integration Testing phases and UAT · Support change control and migration of codeline/aop configuration for deployment of 5G/LCR reporting solutions to production environments and liaise with users for post-prod support of Day 1 deliverables · Provide technical support for the use of new functionality and tools deployed to production environment · The positions will report to the IT Project Lead and are based in New York.
