*Duration: 6-12 months+* *LOOKING FOR LOCALS OR FROM NEARBY STATE CANDIDATES WHO CAN COME FOR IN PERSON INTERVIEW.* Client is looking for very strong *J2EE developers with strong TDD experience*. Currently they have a team of about 9 developers doing server side development for our Risk and Control platform in the Front Office. Some of the candidates that they have interviewed are lacking basic skills such as being able to reverse arrays and understanding of spring and hibernate. They need below. From a high level they need 2 consultants to hit the ground running. *The role is dynamic and a successful candidate will have * • Strong fundamentals on OOP and Design Patterns • Strong programming experience and good understanding of algorithms • Demonstrated experience with J2EE application and developing using Java Server stack is a must • Experience with the Spring Framework Spring MVC / JDBC / ORM / Transaction / Caching • Strong experience in building Restful services and decoupled systems • Strong database design and query language • Agile software development experience in Scrum is preferred. *Below skills would be plus:* • Understanding of Business Process Management such as JBPM • Understanding of Drools rules engine • Oracle Coherence Grid Caching or other caching • Hadoop experience • Data analysis and modeling is a plus and well suited for some of the work we will be conducting.
