Position: *IBM WebSphere* Duration: 10+ Month Location: Raleigh, NC Rate: ALAP *JOB DESCRIPTION:* The ECIDS Project is in need of a contractor position to assume the leadership role for the technical development, implementation, and support for the portal and web content management aspects of this project. Lead the technical development, implementation, and support for the *ECIDS portal* using the *IBM Websphere Portal* and *Web Content Management *(WCM) tools Support and assist the development of the *ECIDS user interface* and overall creative design for the application; *Mobility support considerations* Writing and testing program code Performing system implementation activities Technical support Developing system and end-user documentation where needed Instructing and training of other team members and end users on the use of the ECIDS application *Desired/preferred skills:* Experience working with the *Agile SDLC methodology*; web user interface/creative design; mobility support for web applications; and W3C and Section 508 accessibility guidelines Qualified candidates must have pre-existing, hands-on, technical development work experience with the implementation of the IBM Websphere Portal and IBM WCM tools for small to medium scale web sites/applications.
