Position : *Sr. Data Architect/Modeler* Location : Washington, DC
Duration : 12+ Months *Job Description: *8 – 10 years of experience in Data Modeling, Metadata Management, Master Data management, Data/ Information Architecture, Data Governance & Data Quality, Metadata Management · Highly skilled in end-to-end Data warehousing and BI design / development; experience with GoldenSource Security Master and Data Warehouse products is highly desirable. · Must have strong development & design skills in Oracle 11g and Oracle 11g RAC. · Strong experience with designing ETL programs using Informatica, and other equivalent tools. · Strong experience with designing and creating complex relational and multi dimensional logical and physical data models. · Strong understanding of Business Process Mapping. · Proficiency with concepts around Data Virtualization, Information as a Service, etc. · 1. Data Architecture & Data Model Design, able to work at any level of Data Modeling: o Corporate Data Modeling, o understanding of the Contextual Level, o enriching the Conceptual Level , o designing each Logical Level for the Data Domains involved in the project the Data Architect will be assigned to, o applying the E/R Codd Normal form rules o respecting the Data/Information principles, o able to work at the Physical Data Model Level & its specific requirements (database, schema, index, recommendation on performance issues, recommendation on sql construct), o respecting the existing Enterprise data standards and enhance them when pe!1inent, o able to reverse-engineering & understand existing Data Models (MDM tool, World Bank), o E/R Data Modeling with Erwin, · 2. Facilitation & Leadership to gather Business requirements in order to define the sub-sequent Logical Data Model & capture all the business rules pertinent to that Logical Data Model. · 3. Able to work with the other Architect responsible to capture the Business · 4.
