If you have a matching profile, please send me the updated resume along with contact details at the earliest. *Position:- Sr. Build Release Engineer* *Location:- McLean, VA* *Duration:- 12+ Months * *Interview:- Phone + Skype * *NEED ONLY USC/GC CONSULTANT * Please find enclosed the job description for the new resource in Falcons: Responsibilities • Manage & maintain our automated Continuous Integration (CI) release and deployment framework – Very Important • Contribute, Develop and maintain automation testing framework in Java/Selenium/RestAssured framework. • Contribute to the strategy & vision of continuous integration and delivery and owning the implementation • Continuous improvement & automation of the build & deployment processes/strategies • Develop & maintain build & deployment scripts • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve all release related issues and suggest/implement process improvements • Investigate failures by debugging the environment and coordinate failure analysis • Facilitate resolution of issues prior to deployment and escalate issues where necessary • Work closely with the Development, Architecture, QA and Infrastructure teams to ensure that any applicable environment issues are resolved in advance of production implementation • Support configuration management needs for various technical environments, including both physical and virtual components • Ensure Operations readiness and technical documentation completion to coincide with each release • Work in a dynamic team oriented environment using agile methodologies • Support Agile development tools Experience • Degree in Computer Science, or related work experience • 5+ years’ work experience in Release engineering processes • Relevant release/configuration management knowledge and experience • Solid working experience with source control and build tools (git, Jenkins a plus) • Solid working experience in scripting languages – UNIX Shell, Groovy or Ruby • Experience in setting and administering a Continuous Integration and delivery environment (Hudson/Jenkins/Cruise Control, Nexus/Artifactory) • Experience using various development methodologies, including agile concepts Requirements • Very good knowledge of virtualization and build tools • Understanding of agile methodologies such as test driven development, continuous integration continuous deployment – Very Important • Strong interpersonal abilities • Strong analytical and effective problem solving skills • Able to manage assigned tasks and projects with little supervision • Perfect understanding in different branching and tagging strategies • Hands-on experience with Ant and Maven Thanks & Regards..
