*Job Title: 6161-1: **MS SQL Server DBA* *Location: **COLUMBIA, South Carolina* *duration : 9 months* *rate: $50/hour on c2c or 1099 MAX* DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design, build, implement, secure and maintain databases for development, test and production environments. Work with SCDE team to identify and analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions. 2. Write and modify scripts & stored procedures (e.g.: SQL, PHP) for database access or reporting. 3. Ability to efficiently problem solve and analyze a variety of problems, assess risks and implement solutions while adhering to security standards. 4. Participate in cross-training activities to achieve a comfort level supporting SCDE data collection servers, as well as cross-train other team members on DBA responsibilities. 5. Work with cross-functional teams to support customer requests as appropriate. 6. Other database duties as assigned. 7.
