*Job title: 1153033: Oracle MiddleWare* *Location: Charleston, WV* *duration:* *1 year* *US Citizens only* a) *General Description: * Oracle Middleware Administrator will be responsible for supporting of various platforms including, but not limited to, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle SOA, Oracle Service, and Oracle BI running on the Linux platform in order to meet the client's needs. Support includes, but not limited to, installation, configuration, and maintenance of existing and future platforms. The administrator will be repsonsible for supporting Java development teams and carrying out code package deployments to the environment. The administrator will be required to attend in person regularly scheduled team and planning meetings. The administrator will be required to provide analysis and recommendations for future Middleware environments, which will include number of servers required for High Availibility. Progress will be tracked by the administrator and Team Lead. The administrator shall be tasked with specific units of work in the form of 'sprints' found in the Agile methodology. The administrator will also determine their own work to perform in each 'sprint'. b) *Required Skills and/or Product Knowledge: * Candidate requires bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information systems field and one to three years or more of technical experience. At least 1 year experience with LINUX and Windows environments. Working knowledge of Web Services, Middleware Tier, Network topology, High Availability, Version Control, and Application servers Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively in the workplace using resources such as self learning (technical manuals) and technical courses. c) *The following skills and experience are preferred: * Experience with Unix / Linux shell scripting, python scripting, Apache, Oracle SOA, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle WebCenter, Oracle Database, Oracle Siebel, Oracle BI, Oracle Web Service Manager, Oracle WebLogic Scripting, SSO environments, Load balanced / clustered environments, writing of technical documentation, and Amazon Web Services Experience in large data center environment.
