*Job Description:* *Mandatory Skills:* • Four years work experience developing in Java and/or Java script, and unit testing code. • Certification as a Curam-trained developer with two years Curam development experience, or demonstrated four years performing enhancements to the Curam application following Curam standard upgrade methods. .Training and experience must be with Curam version 5.2 or greater, including version 6 • Prior development experience with a Cognos database environment • Prior experience working with formal code libraries and associated development control processes. • Demonstrated ability to work independently but collaboratively as part of a small team. • Ability to write clear technical specifications. *Desired Skills:* •Deep and broad knowledge of the domain •Demonstrated success in managing and coordinating with staff across multiple projects, and successful leadership of cross-functional teams. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Highly organized, detail oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills. •Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. •Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff. •Business analysis experience creating requirements, use cases, functional specifications preferred. •Familiarity with agile methodology preferred.
