Job Description: Oracle DBA Location: Rhode Island(1 Week)/Remote Duration: 8+ Months Must have skills: Security Patching, Teradata Description · Client is required to remediate any security vulnerabilities in a timely fashion for our AsterData appliance (including Hadoop). The AsterData appliance is scanned weekly using our Qualys application for vulnerabilities. Vulnerabilities are then logged into the corporate compliance application called Archer. Currently, there are approx 84 vulnerabilities that need to be remediated. Job Requirements · Review existing/new AsterData (Aster and Hadoop) vulnerabilities that are generated weekly from our Qualys/Archer system · Create Observation (OBV) and Information Security Remediation Plan (ISRP) into Archer (Compliance Tool) in order to establish a plan for the vulnerability · Work with Client team and AsterData (Teradata) vendor to determine remediation plan · Manage, track the OBV/ISRPs due dates to ensure dates are met · Coordinate with AsterData vendor and client team in implementing the remediation plan · Open tickets with the vendor if required · Skills require someone who is technically astute, understands technology upgrades/patching and comfortable talking with the vendor. · Leaning more towards a ‘technical type’ person type skill set, someone who has admin/DBA experiences would be a good fit · Oracle DBA may also fit the need assuming they have performed upgrades, patching, opening tickets · Knowledge in AsterData preferred , Teradata knowledge a plus Logistics · Come onsite – RI for first week and remote thereafter · Will report to client manager *Thanks & Regards * *Teja * Aura analytics LLC Email: [email protected] Contact: 408-819-2054 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
