1. SAS Programming Experience
a. *4+ years of experience programming in SAS* *(10+ years exp)*
2. Experience with Teradata SQL to query and extract data from Teradata
EDW.
3. Experience with USPS Data and Operations {preferred not required}
*Desirable Qualifications*:
1. SAS Programming
a. Experience programming in SAS Enterprise Guide
b. Experience programming in SAS Studio
2. SAS Enterprise Miner
a. Experience creating predictive analytical models
b. Experience using Text Miner
3. SAS Administration
a. Experience working in a SAS environment
b. Experience administering user roles and responsibilities in a SAS
environment
c. Experience with data management tasks
d. Experience possibly setting up a SAS environment
4. Installing and Configuring a SAS Environment
a. Experience installing a SAS server environment
b. Experience setting up a new SAS environment
5. Experience with Teradata SQL
a. Experience with Teradata SQL Assistant
b. Ability to write Teradata SQL to query and extract data from the
Teradata EDW
6. Postal Experience
a. Experience querying Postal databases, especially the Enterprise Data
Warehouse and important production contracting databases
b. Knowledgeable with the USPS’s EDW Accounting and Retail Data Marts
