*Job Description: * The Sr. Cloud Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing automated Continuous Integration & Delivery solutions, as required, to support the technical capabilities at Company. To be successful in this role one must be able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, both with team members and business contacts at all levels. This role will primarily be focused on our Public and Private Cloud platforms leveraging Infrastructure as Code to support CI/CD pipelines. In addition, the successful Cloud Automation Engineer must be able to work with minimal or no supervision on multiple concurrent complex projects and to coordinate the work of others in this environment. This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. * DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :* • Participate in the design, planning and deployment of business applications leveraging infrastructure as code • Ensure company engineering standards are being followed by all business units • Develop automated pipelines, processes & scripts to support the deployment of customer solutions in cloud environments • Gather requirements to document and develop solutions to support the requirements • Lead the development and socialization of standards relating to supported platforms • Provide cross training to other engineers and developers across the organization • Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting of infrastructure and applications • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the platforms and related applications • Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and taking responsibility for seeing those issues through resolution • Research and implement new technologies to improve the environment *Qualifications:* • Public Cloud computing (AWS required/Azure a plus) • Excellent infrastructure technical foundation on Platforms (Linux and/or Windows), Storage and Networking • Configuration Management Platforms (Puppet preferred) • Working knowledge of logging platforms (Splunk & CloudTrail) • Excellent knowledge with Amazon Web Services APIs • Excellent knowledge of AWS Deployment & Management capabilities including CLI, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, CloudWatch and IAM. • Excellent Python and scripting skills • Excellent troubleshooting skills • Continuous Integration experience with tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins or other CI tools • Pluses: Working knowledge of any/all of: IIS, Apache, Database platforms (Dynamo, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL), Perl, PowerShell, VMWare vCenter, RedHat CloudForms, OpenStack, OpenShift and CFEngine • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Excellent written and oral communication skills on both technical and business topics • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience • 2+ years’ experience developing and support applications in the public cloud • 8+ years of IT experience • AWS Certified -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
