-Integration Support
-Without direct supervision, perform integration tasks in support of the
various projects the department is expected to support.
-The primary focus of this position will be to perform integrations of*
SAML Service Providers (SP) with Northeastern’s Shibboleth/SAML Identity
Provider (Idp) service. These activities include but are not limited to:*
-*Obtaining and**q** documenting service integration requirements.*
*-*Develop integrations of various service providers (SP) with
Northeastern’s Identity Provider (IdP) service utilizing the best practices
and guidance of Northeastern’s Identity Management team.
*-*Create Service Provider components (SP’s) for environments such as
WordPress, Drupal, etc.
-Create and possibly executeq thorough test plans for each integration.
-Provide documentation thoroughlyq describing any integrations completed or
manipulated.
-Document and reviewq existing Shibboleth/*SAML and LDAP integrations.*
-*Cross train and provide guidance to existing**q** employees within the
Identity Management team with regards to Shibboleth/SAML principals and
integrations.*
-*Assist the Identity Management**q** team with the upgrade to Shibboleth
3.0 IdP*
-Knowledge, Skill sets, and Experience
*The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following:*
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, preferably with
continuing studies and course work.
- Must have strong working experience with the development and testing of
authentication integration solutions with *LDAP and Active Directory.*
- Must have strong working experience with the integration of *services
with various federated technologies including SAML 2.0 and/or Shibboleth,
CAS, OAuth, and Microsoft ADFS.*
- Must have strong development skills and experience with* Groovy, Pearl,
PHP, Java, and JavaScript.*
* - Administrative experience with enterprise IAM solutions (Oracle Waveset
preferred) is a strong plus.*
* - Working experience of enterprise database structures (Oracle, MS-SQL)
is a strong plus.*
* - Experienced and demonstrated SQL skills a strong plus.*
- Should have excellent analytical skills to understand how clients'
policies and procedures relate* to IDM requirements.*
*- Should have the ability to resolve conflicts while remaining within the
policy guidelines; consistent demonstration of creative solutions to
problems is a plus.*
- Must work well in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
- Must work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Must have the ability to multi-task.
- Strong Business Analysis skills a plus.
- Background in the integration or mobile services with various
authentication solutions is a plus.
- ITIL Level 2 Certificate or above is a plus
