*Position: Oracle DBA With Golden Gate Location: Lincolnshire, IL Duration: 12 Months* * Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills* • Proactive Monitoring of Golden gate instances for Availability, Security and Performance • Experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle Golden Gate (OGG) • Manage all aspects of the Golden Gate design, implement and support in development, UAT and production environments • Identify and resolve Golden Gate problems occurring in all database environments including performance related issues (i.e. database & SQL tuning). • Experience in Oracle Database configuration, tuning, maintenance, patching, and problem diagnosis and resolution. • Monitoring and Troubleshooting of Golden Gate of extract & replicate process • Setting up the table replication in Golden Gate • Golden Gate Version Upgrades • Replication failure analysis using Log Dump utility • Analyze & trouble shoot Data synchronization issues • Incident, Change & Problem Management • Participate in Dr drills " Collaborates with customers and advises about technical issues on active projects Identifies and determines likely reasons for problematic causes. Prepares accurate documentation and communication to facilitate elimination of problems and to create efficient fixes. Escalate problems and roadblocks as they occur. Coordinates cross-functionally to accomplish assigned tasks. Interacts with team members and peers and may interact externally to provide semi-routine information related to assigned tasks.
