*Location:*:: *NH-New Hampshire/MerrimackDuration:::3+ months * *Job Description::Must have:*• Strong Oracle PL SQL • Very good communication skills Plus • Perl • Strong ETL (Informatica) • Previous Financial Services experience *Description::*-As an individual contributor within the database development services organization supporting the Fixed Income (FI) division, this individual will develop Oracle database components. -Primary responsibilities will include database design and development as a database services representative on a high performing, fast-paced team. -This role requires expert knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL. -Experience with Fixed Income asset advisor and/or statistical programming is a plus. *Primary Responsibilities::*• Participate in the development, enhancement and maintenance of database applications both as an individual contributor and as a team member • Support batch jobs and create Autosys JIL scripts for adding/updating batch jobs as necessary • Design low level program structures and code program logic, assist with performance tuning, development and deployment • Performs functional analysis for major projects supporting several corporate initiatives • Works with IT partners and user community for project analysis • Performs independent technical analysis on complex projects. • Performs code and unit testing for complex scope modules, and projects • Works on multiple projects concurrently • Develop ETL scripts using Informatica to integrate data in an Oracle based Enterprise system • Apply best practices to come up with DB designs to meet or exceed business needs. Including but not limited to physical databases, schemas, table structures, indices, data marts, program structure, batch processing, performance, etc. • Status reporting and problem escalation to project and database technology stakeholders where appropriate. *Qualifications::Education and Experience:*• Solid programming and application development experience with Oracle 12C • Demonstrable experience and a solid understanding of specific programming practices for Oracle architecture. • Experience with statistics and analytical database development is a definite plus • 10+ years’ experience in a large technology organization with experience on database development in financial services, preferably in an asset management firm • 5+ years of database design/development using Oracle PL/SQL. • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS preferred *Skills and Knowledge::* • Strong communication and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to interface with multiple levels in the organization as well as building productive working relationship in a matrix organization. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills required. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that can be applied to Requirements gathering and analysis. • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills. • Ability to quickly synthesize ideas, options, and thoughts into solutions to management to aid in decision making. • Highly motivated and energetic; able to juggle multiple priorities concurrently • Self-motivated, excellent work ethic, goal oriented and strong team player • Solid ORACLE programming skills • Ability to read and interpret physical data models • Knowledge of DBMS optimizer and performance tuning techniques • Ability to translate requirement documents into DBMS language • Excellent test skills with focus to detail and depth *Regards, Rashmi Singh(Technical Resource Specialist)Ramy Infotech IncPhone: 408-317-9256 Ext-334 Fax : 408-273-6834Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>* Note: We are working with prime vendor (One Layer between) for this position. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Business_Intelligence" group.
