We provide a challenging, dynamic, and fast paced work environment where innovation is nurtured and creativity is embraced.Major Areas of Responsibility::*• Perform systems analysis, design, development, and testing; ability to analyze alternative solutions as needed; • Design and implement secure code for software applications; • Identify and formulate plans to resolve problems by applying new and evolving technology. • Perform evaluations and impact analysis to improve or enhance major automated information system processes. • Perform testing and maintain software applications; • Follow Software Configuration Management techniques and best practices; • Perform troubleshooting and supporting production applications; *Required Skills::*• Highly motivated self-starter who can contribute to the design, development, and improvement of the ERP system; • Experience with Java, Oracle 10g and/or 11g Developer's Suite (Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports) and PL/SQL; • Experience and understanding of the software/system development life cycle (SDLC); • Experience with relational database concepts and strong analytical skills; • Excellent communication skills; interpersonal skills and written skills; • Ability to work independently and as a team member, as required; • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar discipline is preferred, 5-7 years experience in software engineering or related experience; • Must be US Citizen *.Preferred Skills::*• Experience with issue tracking and configuration management tools (e.g., Serena Business Manager, PVCS Version Manager) is preferred; • What will the consultant be doing with Java? Programming, interfaces • What does the consultant need to be able to do with Oracle? Is it more administrative focused or development? This is a development job, need full life cycle development experience • What is the team size like? Will they be reporting to someone or do they need to be able to hit the ground running with no training? There will be some training to understand our application but they should be an experienced developer who does not need training in PL/SQL or Java. This is an integrated team of 10-12 people • Wil the consultant needs a clearance since they will be working for Government and Military? Checking with FSO regarding exact clearance requirement. They must be a US citizen. • What are the 3 top must haves for this role?
