CLient is hiring a developer to join our Adobe Experience Manager team.
Our group delivers solutions to clients across the globe, and the person
selected will immediately be developing AEM solutions for one of our
largest accounts.
The work is technically challenging, but also quite rewarding – every week
hundreds of thousands of unique visitors will visit the pages that you
build.
We are a highly collaborative Scrum team so you will be working throughout
the lifecycle with a variety of stakeholders including technical, creative,
UX, and account services teams.
It is critical that you are able to provide realistic estimates, find
answers to questions, and effectively interact with our internal teams.
If you are not familiar with the platform, AEM is the enterprise CMS
component of the Adobe Marketing Cloud.
AEM is built on an Apache Sling / Jackrabbit / OSGI (Felix.)
AEM has a component based architecture on both the client (UI) and server
side.
The UI framework is built around Sightly which is similar in structure to
more common JavaScript frameworks such as Angular.
Outstanding candidates need to bring a firm foundation in web-based design
and development focused on Java and related tools & technologies.
Experience on the AEM platform would be ideal.
*Short of having direct AEM experience, candidates MUST have strong
expertise in:*
• UI JavaScript frameworks (Angular.JS / Ember.JS / React.JS)
• Spring MVC
*Plus skills:*
• DevOps (Maven / Jenkins.)
• REST Web Services.
• JSON / JIRA / Intelli-J / Advanced jQuery.
• Central Authentication Service (CAS) and continuous integration.
• Localization
