<p>Essential Skills: </p> <p>• You'll need to have minimum of 8-10 years 
working experience as a data analyst</p> <p>• Mandatory Experience with SQL in 
Oracle database</p> <p>• Ability to rapidly understand business requirements, 
communicate business expectations to cross-functional development teams, 
document analysis findings that can be easily understood</p> <p>• Ability to 
assemble, analyze, and evaluate data and to be able to make appropriate and 
well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to the Business stakeholders and 
the Project Team</p> <p>• Strong SQL and Database Skills Past project 
experience with integration technologies i.e. ETL, data migration, and packaged 
applications</p> <p>• Experience with data quality assessment, cleansing, and 
improvement efforts Data validation and testing experience Effective 
communication and writing skills Data sourcing, data mapping, data profiling, 
data mining, documenting data definitions</p> <p>• Strong analytical skills 
with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant 
amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy</p> <p>• Adept at 
queries, report writing and presenting findings</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> 
<p>• Analysis of database tables as they relate to a data warehouse model and 
determination of likely intra and inter-database relationships.</p> <p>• Assess 
the quality and consistency of data stored in a source database and develops 
recommendations for data cleansing based upon data warehouse business 
rules.</p> <p>• Prepare a Data Quality and Schema Structure Report which 
documents findings regarding the database analysis work performed. ER 
diagramming will be a part of this activity. </p> <p>• Create mappings between 
the fields in the source and target systems as well as identifying 
relationships within a source (implicit foreign keys, lookup tables, etc.). 
</p> <p>• Leverage mappings to create an ETL process to move the data from the 
source system to the target system.</p> <p>• This includes data cleaning and 
value mapping Basic Performance tuning of queries and tables.</p> <p>• 
Documentation of source schemas to be used by other Data Analysts.</p> <p>• 
Quality assurance validation of the transformed data output, often in XML 
format.</p> <p>Impact on the business: </p> <p>• Plays a key role in delivering 
success by leveraging business intelligence tools to advance client’s business 
objectives</p>
