*Job Title: *Developer Lead (Developer (Specialty) IV) *Location: *Richfield, Minnesota *Duration: *12+ month Contract position *Interview Process:* In-person Direct *Required : *Java, JavaScript 10+ years OR most advanced level of experience in specified technology required *Position Overview**:* This is not a project, but rather an ongoing engagement with the View Engineering teams. A person in this role will be a technical leader for a product team, and will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to the engineering team (front end, back end, QA). *Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:* A person in this role will deliver new features, enhancements, and foundational engineering tasks to deliver on a regular basis. Depending on team, this could be every week, or every two weeks. They will guide and mentor a team to ensure artifacts to deploy are ready and tested on time. There is also an expectation that this person would also be a hands on contributor to said artifacts. *Day to Day position look like:* This is a leadership role within a View Engineering team. They will spend ~50% of their time meeting with stakeholders to understand and formulate requirements and timelines, and will work with BAs to translate into technical requirements. The remaining ~50% will be spent contributing to codebase(s), and providing guidance and direction to their team. A person in this role could spend some time working with Operations, Performance Engineering, and Release Management to address performance and release activities. *Skills Overview:* · Qualified candidates will have experience leading development teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. · They should have a combination of JavaScript and Java/Groovy development experience, with an emphasis on Java. · A very qualified candidate will be a hands-on technical leader who has experience delivering high scale applications. · Preferred requirements: Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and “content delivery networks” is a huge plus. *Soft Skills:* A qualified candidate will be a strong oral and verbal communicator. This person must also be capable of providing ongoing technical guidance and direction to a team. *Preferred Industry* E-Commerce, health care, banking – any type of industry that would require high interaction between stakeholders, and a focus on Agile delivery at high scale Thanks & Regards *K.M.
