*Position Description:-*

The Senior Business Analyst is a critical position on the EDSC Program. The
primary function of the Senior Business Analyst is to provide meaningful
and comprehensive requirements, business scenarios and Use-Cases related to
data and processes for various project initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:-

·         Be responsible for developing requirements documents and other
project related artifacts associated with designated project
·         Utilize prior experience to make recommendations regarding data
modeling, data architecture, development, data extracts, reporting, etc.
·         Participate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in customer-facing
meetings to facilitate discussions regarding the use of the data for MDM
·         Leverage knowledge of the data to act as a liaison between the
business owner/data custodian and the internal team.
·         Be responsible for the completion of certain Change Request (CRs)
in terms of supervising the team to complete the discrete tasks required by
the CRs.
·         Interview and interface with internal staff and clients to obtain
needed requirements
·         List out risks and constraints in relation to identified
requirements in clear terms.
·         Document functional, nonfunctional, and operational requirements
·         Utilize the latest business applications, determining tools,
programming languages, and other affiliated technology in relation to
Master Data Management.
·         Create workflows, documentation and perform peer reviews
·         Create documentation to support and describe business initiatives

Required Education and Experience:-

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent  in business administration,
information systems, or related field preferred

·         Experience in developing and maintaining system lifecycle
documentation. (required)

·         Prior experience with gathering requirements for creation of rules

·         Prior experience with tools like Remedy, ALM, Visio, SharePoint

·         Experience working with business processes and re-engineering

·         Experience working with computer programming concepts and coding
languages, specifically ETL and JAVA

·         Experience working with the implementation of company value

·         Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills

·         Experience with capturing requirements in waterfall and Agile

·         Excellent knowledge of best practices and an understanding of
industry trends and difficulties

·         Ability to deal with multiple complicated differences inherent in
Medicare/Medicaid healthcare data

·         5 or more years of business processes and business analysis
experience in a system engineering or software application environment

Desired Education and Experience
·         CMS or Health Care Industry experience is a PLUS

Job Description:-

Platform Support:-

 Need critical thinking skills (systematically work thru issues).
 SQL, Oracle experience required.
 Linux/Unix experience required.
 Windows servers experience.
 SQL scripting, Bash scripting.
 Java knowledge is helpful.

Tier III:-

 This is an advanced position of platform support (requires all the same
 java or C++ experience required (Tier III will work with code more than
platform support).
 SQL for data manipluations.
 Webfocus support experience is a BIG plus.

 The Commercial Operations and Support team is responsible for
troubleshooting issues, managing highly complex technical changes,
monitoring application performance and continuously improving our existing
systems  and processes.
 The ideal candidate is expected to cultivate a deep knowledge of our suite
of applications and related third-party technologies all while fostering
strong relationships with various MasterCard operations and business teams.
 As a member of the Commercial Support team, this position will participate
in a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule to respond to critical incidents.


 Deliver World Class support for our various web applications, systems and
their supporting middleware infrastructure.
 Research, replicate, perform root cause analysis and provide resolution to
product issues reported by customer and internal personnel.
 Collaborate with Developers, Operations, & Business Executives from around
the globe as necessary to resolve customer facing issues.
 Maintain history and status of incidents as well as manage change control
through the company’s trouble ticketing and change management system.
 Contribute to the improvement of the company’s products, documentation,
and processes.
 Understand and support the Software Development Life Cycle and Service
Oriented Architecture
 Express strong relationship and collaborative skills with the ability to
work as a member of a highly diverse and geographically distributed team.


 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
combination of related work experience.
 Must demonstrate strong communication skills both written & verbal, while
illustrating a solid command of the English language.
 Must have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation while
demonstrating the ability to drive results.
 Experience in supporting internet fundamentals related to web servers,
java application servers, internet security and other internet technologies.
 Thorough knowledge and understanding of network and operating system
principles with:
• Network Troubleshooting (TCP/IP) with DNS, HTTP, & SSL
• Command line mastery within Operating Systems such as Solaris, AIX and
RedHat Enterprise Linux

Highly successful candidates will have advanced knowledge and experience in
many of the following areas:
